We facilitate leadership/volunteer development, awareness and connection and governance/operational excellence opportunities that are inclusive, diverse, equitable, accessible and contribute to truth and reconciliation.
We support and promote capacity for leaders and volunteers in sport, culture and recreation.
We do this through development and networking opportunities.
We improve information access to our members and seek partnerships to extend our network.
We do this through: community consultations and profiles, coordinate a district team at the Saskatchewan Games, connect communities/groups and provincial SCR organizations, and create partnerships that extend the SCR system.
We ensure governance and operational performance and accountability to our members and funders.
We do this by adhering to governance and democratic controls, good financial management, are in good standing as an incorporated non-profit and a commitment to strategic and operational planning.
We use the community development approach in working with communities and groups to assist in meeting their needs in a variety of sport, culture and recreation opportunities.
We are here to connect grassroot communities and organizations with provincial funders and recreation, cultural and sport organizations. We aim to create opportunities with local organizations to help provide sustainable, recreation and leisure lifestyle opportunities to meet the needs of those in our district.
