Grants for Communities:

Indigenous Community Sport Development Grant Program (ICSGP)

Deadline: Ongoing
Description: The purpose of the Indigenous Community Sport Development Grant Program (ICSGP) is to provide greater sport participation and development opportunities for Indigenous youth in Saskatchewan, especially youth living in urban, rural, on-reserve, isolated and northern communities.

Grant Guidelines           Application Form

NOTE: Please check that your sport has return to play policies and safety guidelines in place before applying.  Currently, applications will be adjudicated on skills based learning unless your sport has approval from their PSO for team play.

Grants for Coaches:

Coach Development Grant

Description: The Coaches Association of Saskatchewan offers a Coach Development Grant to support member coaches to attend customized professional development and advanced education opportunities that will enhance their skills and abilities.

Coach Visitation Program

Description: The Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan Coach Visitation Program is designed to assist Provincial Sport Organizations and high performance coaches collaborate and learn from national coaches or experts within a competition or clinic setting, in Saskatchewan. The program allows for up to $750 once per fiscal year per Provincial Sport Organization.

High Performance Coach Development Grant

Description: The purpose of this grant is to support Saskatchewan coaches who work with high performance athletes and are committed to upgrading their coaching skills and abilities through education, training, and certification.

Officials Visitation Grant

Description: Provides financial assistance to PSGBs to bring National, International or Professional experts to the province to deliver professional development opportunities.

Officials Professional Development Grant

Description: Assists active member officials enhance their officiating skills through participation in professional development workshops, officials conferences and other officiating education opportunities.

Parasport Grants:

Adaptive Sport Equipment Grant

Description: The cost of specialized (adapted) equipment for athletes with a disability to participate in sport is a significant barrier to their participation. The purpose of the Adaptive Sport Equipment grant is to assist in removing this barrier and provide financial assistance for the purchase of adapted equipment for people with a disability to participate in organized sport programs.

Adaptive Sport Club Development Grant

Description: The purpose of the Adaptive Sport Club Development grant is to provide financial assistance to support new developmental programs in communities or the expansion (enhancement) of existing sport programs for persons with a disability.
