Athletes qualify to participate in the Sask Games through a try-out process, otherwise known as District Playdowns, and each sport’s process varies as to how their team selections operate.
Sports announced include: Alpine Skiing, Artistic Swimming, Badminton, Biathlon, Bowling (5-Pin & Special Olympics), Cross Country and Para Nora Skiing, Curling, Figure Skating, Futsal, Gymnastics, Judo, Speed Skating, Table Tennis, Target Shooting, Weightlifting, Wrestling, and Ringette.
More details about tryouts will be released closer to the 2026 Saskatchewan Winter Games.
