In this workshop you will learn to identify what partnerships are advantageous and how to lay the framework for a successful partnership. Communication and conflict resolution techniques within this context will also be introduced.
Learning objectives include:
Identification and definition of a partnership – what makes a partnership?
Participants will improve and increase their knowledge and understanding of why and when to consider a partnership with another organization.
The challenges to consider when beginning a partnership with another non-profit organization and/or for profit organization.
The importance of leadership, building teams, communication and dealing with conflict in the overall details of a partnership will be discussed.
The importance of volunteers to non-profits and partnerships.
Networking skills for your organization to build stronger partnerships within and beyond your non-profit.
