International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination
March 11 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am
Together, we will explore what race and racism are, understand race as a social construct, and unpack key concepts and terminology.
In this unique learning opportunity, participants will examine how racism operates across four interconnected levels: structural, institutional/systemic, interpersonal, and internalized and reflect on the impacts within our communities.
This session creates a respectful, nonjudgmental space for learning from one another.
We will also share practical, community-based strategies to support equitable organizations, inclusive relationships, and meaningful action to address racism.
Facilitated by Kristin Enns-Kavanagh, this webinar will take place Wednesday, March 11 from 9:30am – 11:30 over Zoom. Those interested are asked to pre-register. Questions can be directed to Community Consultant Darla Batke.
