The next deadline for the Indigenous Community Sport Development Grant Program is May 31, 2026.

This funding stream helps to provide greater sport participation and development for Indigenous youth in Saskatchewan, especially youth living in urban, rural, on-reserve, isolated and northern communities.

Schools are able to tap into this funding stream. Eligible items include: direct program related costs such as equipment, insurance, league fees, transportation, etc. Also eligible: food purchases that related directly to a sport program, personal items such as footwear and uniforms plus honorariums.
