The 2026 Saskatchewan Winter Games are coming to Flying Dust First Nation and the City of Meadow Lake in February of 2026!
More than 1,500 athletes, coaches and officials will gather in the neighbouring northwester communities to share in the thrill of competition and camaraderie on the provincial stage from February 15 – 21, 2026. More than 1,000 community volunteers will be recruited to help welcome the thousands of visitors to the area during the seven days of Games competition.
Athletes must qualify to participate in the Saskatchewan Games through a tryout process, otherwise known as District Playdowns. Each sports process varies as to how team selections are conducted.
