It also supports enhancements to current programming or events. \nApplications can be found online. Be sure to read the grant guidelines to ensure your project is eligible. SUMMARY:Sport Wrapping & Taping Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this 7-hour practical workshop that covers types of soft tissue injuries\, cycle and mechanism of injuries\, stages of healing\, assessing and return to sport guidelines plus when to and when not to tape. \nParticipants will also get hands on training in wrapping and taping including ankle wrapping\, ankle taping\, wrist taping\, thumb and finger taping and more! \nFacilitated by Jannalee Edgar with Sport Medicine & Science Council of Saskatchewan\, this educational workshop will take place Saturday\, August 23 from 9:30am – 5:00pm with a short break for lunch. \nThe in-person event will be hosted by Melville Minor Football at the Melville Comprehensive School\, located at 202 10 Ave E\, Melville. \nCost to attend is $25 to cover supplies used during training. Participants can pay by cash on-site\, cheque or e-transfer. \nPre-registration is required. Questions can be directed to Community Consultant Wendy McLeod. \nParticipants are asked to wear comfortable clothing\, running shoes and bring a lunch.
