SUMMARY:Understanding Diversity
DESCRIPTION:Diversity means different things to different people. \nWhat we know (or think we know) as well as what we don’t know shapes our biases and has an impact on how we live our lives\, on our workplaces\, and in our communities.  A great deal of what we are doing in Saskatchewan is positive but it is easy to get overwhelmed or be uncertain about how we can promote more inclusive lives\, respectful workplaces and welcoming communities. \nThis webinar will explore diversity and our understanding of belonging and equitable inclusion\, the language we use\, our values\, beliefs and behaviours and how all of it shapes how our communities evolve and why it should matter to everyone.  \nUnderstanding Diversity takes place March 19\, 2025 from 9:30am – 11:00am over Zoom. Facilitated by Flo Frank with Common Ground Consulting. Please pre-register. \nQuestions can be directed to Community Consultant Wendy McLeod.
