SUMMARY:Indigenous Community Sport Development Grant Program Deadline
DESCRIPTION:The next deadline for the Indigenous Community Sport Development Grant Program will be October 31\, 2026. \nThe purpose of this funding stream is to provide financial assistance to support new or the expansion (enhancement) of existing organized community sport programs for Indigenous children and youth in Saskatchewan. \nEligible organizations that can apply for this grant include Provincial Sport Organizations (PSO’s)\, Tribal Councils\, First Nations communities and municipalities\, non-profit organizations that provide services with First Nations and Metis people\, and schools. \nPlease note: the grant guidelines have changed for this funding stream. Please ensure you review changes made to the guidelines. DESCRIPTION:Join Tourism Saskatchewan and Parkland Valley Sport\, Culture and Recreation District for a full day of practical learning\, professional development and networking designed for those working in tourism\, sport\, culture and recreation. \nThis workshop session includes: \nIntroduction to Digital Marketing for Small Businesses and Organizations: New to digital marketing? This introductory workshop provides a practical foundation for understanding and using digital marketing tools and strategies. Designed for beginners\, this session focuses on building confidence and providing actionable skills that can be applied immediately to promote a business\, organization\, event or destination online. \nBridging the Generational Gap: Leading and Working with Gen Z: Today’s workplaces often bring together four or five generations of employees. This workshop examines the drivers\, expectations\, and strengths of Gen Z employees and provides actionable strategies to build trust\, increase performance and create a positive workplace experience that benefits both employees and employers. \nThis workshop takes place Tuesday\, November 10\, 2026 from 10:00am – 4:00pm at the Gallagher Centre – National Bank C Room in Yorkton. The cost to attend is $30.00 + taxes and includes lunch. Please pre-register for this training.
