Volunteer Job Descriptions! Why?

December 6, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

UCT Meeting Room—Yorkton Public Library
93 Broadway Street W, Yorkton SK
7:00pm—9:00pm

Why do people volunteer? What challenges is your community/organization having with recruiting volunteers? What is your organization currently doing to attract new volunteers? Are you getting the most out of your current volunteers?

This workshop will focus on the importance of volunteer job descriptions and how spending a few minutes creating simple job descriptions could help your organization recruit new volunteers or get the most out of your current volunteers.  Having volunteer job descriptions in place allows your volunteers to match their skill set/interest with jobs your organization needs completed.

Please come prepared to create volunteer job descriptions specific to your organization/community. If possible, bring a computer with you to work from—a template will be given to you to follow.

Mileage can be claimed for one vehicle per community—please carpool
